Many of our Friars have been praying for the safe return of US Naval Commander Diane Gardner SAHS '87 from what was to be a yearlong tour in Afghanistan. Diane and her team were awarded The Bronze Star yesterday for their heroic actions in Khandar. As you probably know, Diane (daughter of Charlie Gardner SAHS '63) expected to be home in February and was extended due to the virus. She has dodged bullets while working in the hospital, saved innumerable lives and continues to smile thinking of getting home ot her family and four kids. We are praying she and her team return home safely and soon. Congratulations, Friar! We are all proud of you!
