This year's Hall of Fame Dinner Dance was a huge success!  Congratulations to our inductees: Mrs. Tina Grottano(35 year Faculty member), Brother Gabriel O'Brien (former Dean) and Suffolk Legislator Tom Barraga '60 (first SAHS Student Council President)

US Navy Officer Neil Toohey, Class of 2000, returned home to his wife and 3 children after battling ISIS.  Neil is a true American hero!

Our Director of Admissions and Friar Alum Paul Washington did a remarkable job on this year's Friar Faithful video.  Take a minute to watch!  You may be amazed at the changes in your Alma Mater.

Senior Delaney Lenaghan of Massapequa has been named an Intel Semifinalist in the 2015 competition.  She is one of 300 students in the nation and the first female student from Saint Anthony’s High School to be given such an honor.  St. Anthony’s is the only Catholic High School on Long Island to have a student in the competition this year.

On November 15th at Barnes and Noble in East Northport, Theology teacher Brother Richard Contino did a book signing  and discussion for his book To The Stable.  Brother Richard has also written These Sacred Days.  Both books are available on Amazon.com

Michael McAuliffe '91 and Drama Instructor here at SAHS will be very busy this month - He is starring as The TinMan in The WIzard of Oz at Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts. We are very proud of three of our Friar Alumni who were asked to perform at Parents' Weekend at Holy Cross.  They are a true credit to our Music program and Brother Joshua and Mr. Engel.

Friar Alum Thomas Maier '74 has had great success with his writing.  His book Masters of Sex has recently been made into an HBO mini series.  Thomas will be speaking about his latest book When Lions Roar: The Chirchills and the Kennedys at the Sands Point Preserve on October 30th at 11 a.m...Come down and support a fellow Friar!
